Ross has already recorded some notable results including 2nd in division in last year's Rolex Trophy and IRC winner of the IRC Racing division at this year's Audi Hamilton Island Race Week. The boat has been extensively campaigned along the Australian each coast with its best result a 2nd in the Sydney 38 division of this year's Audi Sydney Gold Coast. Zephyr has been upgraded for the boat's first trip south and the crew has been sailing together in preparation for the last 18 months. Zephyr's debut ocean race was this year's Audi Sydney Southport and they went on to contest the Audi Sydney Gold Coast but were forced to retire with a broken backstay.
